Phases and Series


We'll call this a marketing post.  Seems to fit the most.

I'll be splitting the development of Single Combat into four phases, each with a playtest build: Game Loop, Combat, Polish, Beta.  Each of these will hopefully highlight bugs and design decisions that weren't the best so I can add features and fix things for the next build.  

In the longer term, I'm planning on taking what I have with Single Combat when/if I complete it and making a second entry under the Battle Caste name that has this 1v1 combat as a sort of game mode.  I don't know what major additions I'll be making, but my plan is to make games over short periods of time, building on what was in the previous game.  I'll be alternating my focus with each one between PvP and PvE-focused content, so the next one will likely have some sort of cooperative gameplay.  The plan is always to make my additions small and accomplishable, hopefully making bigger and better stuff each time by always carrying forward a lot of what was in previous generations, but refined and bigger.
